LOTUS NOTES can be used differently business to business, and is more than just an email system. Are you getting the most out of it?
The Novecom ICT team are experienced with the Lotus Notes and Domino platforms and are committed to delivering innovative solutions for business needs, leveraging off existing Lotus Notes and Domino infrastructures as well as migrating and integrating legacy systems.
Whilst we recently upgraded the Advitech business to Lotus Notes 8.5.2, our specialty is in tailored database development. We have developed numerous applications for project management (e.g. Job Management System), human resources (e.g. Policies and Procedures database) and finance (e.g. purchasing approval system).
We are currently developing a central dashboard, that pulls in data from multiple sources, to deliver real time business performance and results. This is another tailored solution that will provide real business benefits and return on investment to users.

BigTable is a high performance, proprietary database system created by Google. This system has revolutionised the way large amounts of data can be handled. Smaller businesses can take advantage of BigTable to store and access huge amounts of data, at a fraction of the cost of other large database systems.
Novecom is currently investigating the benefits of implementing BigTable as a data warehouse solution for archived SentineX data. This would involve moving voluminous amounts of SentineX data from a standard

windows file system to BigTable. If successful, this will allow easy interrogation of masses of historical data, which could be extremely valuable for SentineX users.
This research project is part of our commitment to continued development of systems using the latest available technology. Once proven, BigTable may offer our customers a solution to a huge variety of data management challenges.
